Vaccinium Linn., a genus of Vaccinioideae under Ericaceae with 450 varieties around the whole world, is widely distributed in ever-green broad-leaf forest and bush in mountain area in tropic and sub-tropic zones, also under conifer forest in temperate zone in Europe, Asia and America, or in alpine march, wet land, grassland and even to frozen plain in North Pole. In Kanas area there are three kinds of Vaccinium Linn.: V. vitis-idaea L., V. uliginosum L. and V. myrtillus L., being main members to shrub layer under taiga.
